Senior Pastor

Dan Claus has been a pastor for many years and recently pastored a church in the Seattle area, and before that, he was a chaplain at Hope College. He has been “inviting people to pay attention to God and the gospel of Jesus Christ” at Knox since the beginning of October 2026..

One thing Dan loves about Knox is getting to hear people's stories and life with God. On Sunday mornings, he can be found up front leading worship or trying to find his kids.

Something that people at Knox may not know about him is that Dan enjoys cooking and make most of his family’s dinners.

A few topics of conversation that never fail to interest him are cooking, the Detroit Lions or Chicago Cubs, what novel someone is reading, or talking with someone about their life.
