Children’s Ministry
Welcome to Knox Kids!
At Knox, we seek to equip children for a lifelong journey of faith. Rooted in a multi-generational community, they will learn how to pray, read the Bible, and participate in corporate worship; how to repent and forgive; how to serve each other and those in need; and how to trust in the sovereignty of God.

Volunteers Needed
-
In Early Childhood we provide wiggly kids with an age appropriate space while parents sit in worship. But it's not just childcare! We seek every opportunity to share God's Word with the kids in Early Childhood through storybook bibles and lessons with activities or crafts.
-
Children's Worship leads PreK-1st Graders through a worship service of their own. This service uses storytelling that engages all the senses to lead Knox Kids to worship the one true God and understand the liturgical practices of a worship service. This way our kids are equipped to join us as a whole church family by 2nd Grade.
-
Then during our CE hour, we dive further into God's word with kids PreK-6th Grade using The DWELL Sunday School Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to engage kids in God's whole redemptive story using interactive games, reflective wondering, dramatic storytelling, and crafts.

Special Blessings is our ministry to children with disabilities. We believe that children who have disabilities uniquely display the glory of God. When needed, we assemble a shepherd buddy team of four adults or mature teens, who take turns working one-on-one with a child within the context of our regular programs.
