In order to promote and maintain the health of our children and staff, we ask that
children NOT be brought to the Knox Nursery or Toddler Programs if they have:
• Persistent and/or
green nasal discharge
• Hacking(cough)
• Fever, Diarrhea Or Vomiting
in the last 24 hours
• Undiagnosed or untreated rash
• Communicable disease of any
type
In order to protect all children, a child with these symptoms will be isolated and
the parent notified.
In the case of chickenpox, please allow 10 days after pox appear AND pox have completely
scabbed over before returning the child to the program.
