During Worship
PreKindergarten–1st grade
From June 13-August 8, children PreK – 1st grade (just completed)
may choose to go, just before the sermon, to Children’s Worship in the PreK/Kindergarten
Room on the lower level. Be sure to pick them up right after worship.
August 15-Sept
5: All children will stay in the service. There will be no Children’s Worship.
Second–Sixth Grades
Children who’ve finished grades 2-6 will worship with us throughout
the summer. They may use the worship bags or notebooks available (starting in June)
at the brochure rack near the Welcome Center. If you would like to help your child
anticipate what will be happening in the service each week,
contact Barb Paternoster
(bpaternoster@knoxannarbor.org) to be put on the weekly email list to receive that
week’s order of service.
After worship - Knox Kid’s Connect
For all our elementary age kids, we have ways for you to connect
with your Knox friends, while mom and dad are in their CE class or enjoying a time
of extended fellowship with their friends. We’ll have indoor activities (board games
and crafts) in the Music Room and books to browse in the Library. Outdoor activities
(weather permitting), such as soccer and kickball, will also be available in the
fields by the lower parking lot. There are drop-in events, so “come when you can
and leave when you must”. Activities will run until noon. Parents, please check-in
kids 2nd grade and younger.
