ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:
"What Did You Expect?: Redeeming the Realities of Marriage" with
Paul David Tripp

Even in the best of marriages,
it won't take long for you to realize that your relationship hasn't escaped the
reality of sin or the brokenness of the world. It's what you do next that will make
all the difference in the character and quality of your marriage. A marriage of
unity, understanding and love is not rooted in romance but in worship. It is only
when I worship God as Creator, Sovereign, and Savior that I will ever love as I
should.
Our culture would lead us to believe that marriage is rooted in romance.
Scripture would rather say that a good marriage is the result of worship. Does this
confuse you? Then, this CE class is for you. Learn how practical these insights
are for the everyday issues and situations of a real marriage; and, learn the practical
steps that will help couples know how to get from where they are, to where God wants
them to be. This class will consist of 25 minutes of DVD with discussion to follow.
SPECIAL NOTE TO SINGLES OF ALL AGES: This series has been done in other churches
and has been well received by all ages including single people from older teens
through seniors. It is not just principles for marriage but for any relationship.

The Truth Project
Bob Cant
The Truth Project is a DVD-based program of 13 one-hour lessons
that looks at life from a Biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail
the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. The
Truth Project begins by defining truth as "that which corresponds to reality." This
absolute and eternal truth, at the heart of Jesus' mission on earth, continues to
be the focal point of the Cosmic Battle in our own time. It is highly recommended
that those who wish to attend this class be available for the majority of the videos,
as they build upon one another. Because of the length of the videos, this class
will begin ON TIME!!!
My God is Yahweh: Reflections on the Life of Elijah

Despite its brevity, one of the most compelling and dramatic stories
in the Old Testament is that of the prophet Elijah. While his story only takes up
a few chapters in the time of the kings, Elijah's challenge of Ahab's wicked rule,
his miracles,his faithfulness to God in a time of apostasy, and bold proclamation
of God's word capture our imagination and speak to our times in ever fresh and challenging
ways. Join us as we consider the life of this faithful prophet whose life and ministry
point us to the great and final prophet, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Small Group Leader Equipping

We have assembled a wonderful teaching staff to help
equip both existing and aspiring small group leaders in serving our Lord Jesus.
Please, if you are leading a small group, if you are sharing the leadership of a
small group, if you have any inclination that God may one day call you to lead a
small group, COME to this class/workshop. Some of our teachers will be Fred Bailey,
Pastor Mike Frison, Pastor Chuck Jacob, James Paternoster, Diane Telian, Steve Telian,
Kristin Wong and Phil Wong. Class will run from Jan 8 through April 1. Questions
